Lanxi is a Research Project Officer at the Centre for Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, the University of Melbourne. Lanxi aims to promote health for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities in people-centred, contextually responsive, and systematic ways. Lanxi has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master of Education in language teaching and learning, a Master of Education by research on the professional development program evaluation, and a PhD in wellbeing science.
She also has experience in counselling, research project coordination, and higher education teaching. Currently, she works on the Bowel Cancer Screening Alliance program, investigating barriers and facilitators to screening uptake in CALD communities.
