Professor Carlene Wilson has published extensively in the areas of cancer screening, primary and secondary cancer prevention; identification of supportive care needs; and psychological determinants of patient, survivor and carer wellbeing. She was awarded 57 grants between 2008 and February 2022 (>$38 million) and has published 233 papers.
Her current positions include: Professor of Behavioural Oncology, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne; Professor of Psycho-oncology, Olivia Newton John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre, Austin Health and Adjunct Professor, La Trobe University, School of Psychology and Public Health; Emeritus Professor, Flinders University, College of Medicine and Public Health.
