Belinda Goodwin is an experienced behavioural scientist and health systems researcher who leads research programs aimed at improving cancer prevention and early detection and survivorship in the Australian population with a special focus on vulnerable and disadvantaged groups. Belinda holds adjunct and honorary roles with the University of Southern Queensland and the University of Melbourne. She leads the Queensland arm of two national studies developing and trialling individual and system-level interventions to increase participation in the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program. Belinda also leads several projects addressing the practical, financial and emotional needs of rural cancer survivors and their caregivers.
