Dana is a senior lecturer in innovative interactive technologies at RMIT University. Dana’s research focuses on how advances in technology can be used to make access to information fairer, more equitable, and more socially beneficial. Dana received her PhD in 2019; prior to returning to academia she worked in industry for 10 years as a UX professional. Dana is the recipient of several best paper awards and nominations, a Google PhD fellowship, and grants from the ARC, the NHMRC, the Westpac foundation and the Australian Digital Health Agency, among other groups.
