Jane Weber is a Principal Policy Officer, Screening and Cancer Prevention in the Victorian Department of Health’s Public Health Division. Jane has over 10 years’ experience delivering cancer screening and treatment programs and policy initiatives, including the Victorian Government’s implementation of the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program, Optimal Cancer Care Pathways, the Victorian Cancer Screening Data and Surveillance Strategy, a primary care quality improvement framework for bowel cancer screening and policies and initiatives to improve access for bowel screening participants to colonoscopy. Jane has a passion for policy-driven research and has advised on a range of cancer screening, diagnosis, treatment and support and primary care research projects.
